The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
